INTIMATE JAZZ SESSIONS 2CD album NOW IN STORE

Ilse’s new album ‘Intimate Jazz Sessions’ is now in store!

Ilse has signed with Foreign Media Music (Brilliant Jazz) for the worldwide release of the album.

‘Intimate Jazz Sessions’, Ilse’s sixth album to date, features an exquisite and sensual collection of favorite jazzstandards

in a pure and intimate setting. Accompanied by Erik van der Luijt on grand piano, Ilse performs 23 classic songs,

ranging from ‘It had to be you’ and ‘Cry me a river’ to ‘I can’t give you anything but love’ and ‘Angel eyes.’

The album also contains a BONUS cd ‘The Club Sessions’ on which Ilse performs with her working band,

with Erik van der Luijt on piano, Branko Teuwen on double bass and Victor de Boo on drums.

Ilse performs 15 swinging songs such as ‘Blue moon’, ‘Steppin’ out with my baby’ and ‘That old black magic’.

‘The Club Sessions’ has also been released in Japan as a single album.

AANGENAAM JAZZ 2006

A special compilation album ‘Aangenaam Jazz 2006’ is now available in stores.

Ilse’s version of ‘Georgia on my mind’, taken from the album ‘Intimate Jazz Sessions’, has been selected for this edition.

This album promotes jazz musicians from the Netherlands and abroad and also features performances of Jamie Cullum,

Toots Thielemans and Lizz Wright amongst others.
